Most text books are very dry but the majority of the information in this book is written very well. On the down side, it lacks depth in many places, it tends to over-emphasise the more sensationalist elements and – with a few notable exceptions – unless research has been carried out in the USA it tends not to be mentioned or discussed in the book.
The price is on the high side, but the book is well worth the cost.
